Drug and Alcohol roadshow comes to Ramsey

by isleofman.com 29th March 2009
Residents in the north are being urged to attend a roadshow outlining the work of the Chief Ministers Drug and Alcohol Group.

It will be held at Ramsey Town Hall tomorrow afternoon (Monday) and members of the public can drop in anytime between one and five o’clock.

It follows the results of a European survey which revealed alcohol and drug use amongst Island youngsters is a major problem.

Ramsey Commissioners chairman, Brian Beattie, says it’s a good opportunity for parents and residents to become more informed about the problems faced.
