IoM launch NLS Cup campaign

by isleofman.com 28th March 2009
The Isle of Man launched their National League System Cup campaign with a fine 1-0 victory over Manchester on Saturday.

A penalty early in the second half from Kevin Megson at his club ground Peel settled the preliminary round encounter.

The hosts triumphed at Douglas Road in front of the ‘Barmy Army’ – the group of UK based fans which regularly travel to watch the Island.

After the match, Island manager Kevin Manning was full of praise for the support.
