Emergency turnout at Ronaldsway

There was a full turnout of emergency services at Ronaldsway Isle of Man Airport this morning.

It's understood an incoming passenger service had problems with one of its engines and shortly afterwards the pilot of a light aircraft also reported having difficulties.

Both planes landed safely, but the road around the airport stayed closed, at Ballasalla and Janet's Corner, until the second incident was over.
