Trek in Peru to boost funds for charity

by isleofman.com 26th March 2009
A local charity is offering Isle of Man residents the chance to take part in a Trek along the Inca Trail to the legendary Inca city of Machu Picchu.

The Isle of Man Children's Centre is looking for local explorers to go on a sponsored trip in November, with the aim of raising thousands of pounds for the organisation.

The event is being launched at the Douglas Bay Yacht Club this evening.

The Children's Centre say places are limited, and a reasonable level of fitness would be needed tio take part.
