Grandparents deserve more credit - Age Concern

The chief executive of Age Concern Isle of Man believes grandparents should be given tax credits for looking after their grandchildren.

Penny Creighton says they could be missing out on an income by choosing to child-mind rather than have a job.

UK Charity Grandparents Plus is calling for "granny holidays" as well as payment through tax breaks.

Mrs Creighton says grandparents are an invaluable resource for some parents:
