Brown explains ambassadorial role

The Isle of Man's Honorary Representatives serve as its ambassadors.

Chief Minister Tony Brown made the situation clear in the House of Keys, in response to a question from Rushen MHK Juan Watterson.

Mr Watterson wanted to know how the government had utilised the holders of the title around the world to increase the Island's positive international presence.

Mr Brown said they were there for support and encouragement, but not to sell the Island to people in other countries:
