Cavendish wins in Italy

Mark Cavendish has scored a fantastic victory in the 100th Milan to San Remo race in Italy.

In an extraordinary sprint finish, the Manxman took victory by the narrowest of margins at the end of a 185 mile race, the longest he had ever tackled.

Team Isle of Man Manager Gary Hinds told Tim Glover it was an amazing performance, and it was hard to believe Cav had done it (play extended audio file):
