Classic challenge for Cavendish

by isleofman.com 21st March 2009
Laxey cycling star Mark Cavendish is competing at one of Europe’s major spring classic races – the Milan to San Remo.

It’s the longest race the Manxman will ever have tackled at 185 miles with plenty of infamous climbs.

Afterwards, Mark Cavendish will head to Poland to join fellow Manx riders Jonny Bellis and Peter Kennaugh in the Great Britain squad for next week’s World Track Championships.
