London PR firm working with KSF depositors

Depositors fighting to get back their money from the collapsed Kaupthing bank in the Isle of Man have appointed a London public relations firm.

Bell Pottinger has experience acting for Railtrack shareholders and those who lost pension funds in the Equitable Life fiasco.

The firm has been given a mandate by the KSF Depositors Action Group to lobby politicians and regulators in Douglas and London for a full pay-out.

The PR firm will also act as a mouthpiece to reflect the views of thousands of depositors, many of whom live overseas.

Olly Scott is handling the KSF IOM account.

He wants to see the Manx and UK governments, and regulatory bodies, talking to each other:
