Freedom to Flourish donates laptops

by isleofman.com 21st March 2009
'Silver surfers' in the Isle of Man have been learning to search the internet and send emails, thanks to Freedom to Flourish.

The programme's Isle of Man Champions - local firms and organisations which support the branding initiative - have paid for ten laptops computers for Age Concern's drop-in sessions, aimed at people in the over 50 age group.

The computer clinics are held in Douglas, Port St Mary, Peel, Ramsey and Jurby, and Age Concern hopes the equipment will help its clients keep up with the demands of the modern workplace.
