Crews deal with kitchen fire

by isleofman.com 20th March 2009
A wok containing cooking oil was the cause of a fire in Santon yesterday.

Fire crews were called to the house in Mount Murray Drive after the kitchen became filled with smoke.

The hob had been turned on accidentally by an elderly person, and left unattended.

All occupants had left the house before the fire service arrived and no one was hurt.
