Could community centre include police office?

South Douglas MHKs David Cretney and Bill Malarkey want bobbies back on the beat, and based in Anagh Coar.

As discussions continue about proposals for a community centre in the area, it’s being suggested such a building could also house a police office.

Some ratepayers have voiced concern about the lack of a visible police presence and regular foot patrols on the estate, and both MHKs acknowledge policing remains a great concern for their constituents:
