Live report from site of proposed leisure complex

A new leisure complex could rise on the Summerland site at the northern end of Douglas promenade.

The Sefton Group's proposals for "a family leisure complex for all age groups" have been accepted by the Department of Tourism and Leisure.

The complex has already been named "The Wave" and, should the scheme go ahead, it promises to give the Island's tourist industry a big lift.
