Call out for lifeboat crew

by isleofman.com 18th March 2009
Port St Mary lifeboat was sent to help the crew of a fishing vessel this morning.

The Gough Ritchie II was called out at around 10.25am after the boat, with her crew of three, reported taking on water when the pumps failed.

The Kilkeel lifeboat from Northern Ireland was also sent to assist and a third vessel, The Constant Friend, was at the scene.

It's understood the fishing vessel's pumps were successfully restarted.
