Cyclist still 'critical' in hospital

A Sulby man was still in a critical but stable condition in Noble's hospital today, after receiving head injuries in an accident in Andreas at the weekend.

The 78 year-old was cycling into the village when he was involved in a collision with a Ford pick-up truck.

The man, who hasn't been officially named, was due to undergo further treatment this afternoon.

Police are still appealing for witnesses to the incident.
