SUNDAY, March 15
-------------------------------

Rugby - and it was a miserable day for Vagabonds in South Lancashire/Cheshire Division One yesterday (Saturday) as they were demolished 62-5 at home by leaders Burnage.

The rout was sealed in a one-sided first half in which Burnage led 57-5.

Bryn Kennaugh was the scorer of the Vagas’ try.

There was better news for Douglas in South Lancashire/Cheshire Division Two as they won 20-3 at Orrell Anvils.

Two penalties from Bryn Snellgrove fired them in front and tries from Carl Markel-Fearns and James Stan, both converted by Snellgrove, sealed victory.

There was a fine 25-14 win for Ramsey B over Vagabonds B in the Shimmin Wilson Manx Trophy, while Emerging Nomads produced a fine result of their own in the Shimmin Wilson Manx Bowl, holding Douglas B to a 15-15 draw.
