Abbey terminates NHS contract

by isleofman.com 13th March 2009
There's a blow for patients in the south of the Island with the news a dentist there has decided to terminate its contract with the DHSS.

From May 8, the Abbey Dental Practice in Ballasalla will no longer do health service work.

The DHSS is assuring all patients they will be placed with an alternative NHS dentist and has sent out letters explaining their new arrangements.

Anybody who hasn't received a letter can call the department on 642694.
