Flat tyre incident at Ronaldsway

by isleofman.com 13th March 2009
A flat nose-wheel tyre was the cause of an incident involving a Manx2.com flight to Ronaldsway today.

The pilot of the LET 4-10 reported the tyre had deflated shortly after landing from Belfast City at lunchtime.

Passengers were off-loaded on the runway and driven back to the terminal in buses.

Incoming flights were put on hold for nearly half an hour while the aircraft was towed away.

Airport authorities say the tyre did not burst on landing and although airport fire vehicles were called, there was no emergency.
