Build up continues to walking festival

by isleofman.com 12th March 2009
The 2009 Isle of Man Walking Festival is now just two months away and will be the only event of its kind this year, after the Department of Tourism and Leisure withdrew support from the one in the autumn.

Those visiting the Island in May will visit a number of the Island's most scenic locations, including Ballaugh, the coastal route from Port St Mary to Port Erin and Glen Maye.

One of the organisers, Mike Quayle, says it's a packed schedule (play attached audio file):

The 2009 Isle of Man Walking Festival starts on May 17 and will last for six days.
