Kinley wins Enduro ahead of Knight

by isleofman.com 12th March 2009
Barry Kinley won this weekend's Northern Enduro at Ballaugh and Tholt-y-Will plantations as two-time World Champion David Knight suffered a rare off-day.

Knight spent 30 minutes on a section in Tholt-y-Will removing his back wheel to untangle barbed wire effectively ruling him out of contention.

It's reported he received plenty of friendly words of encouragement!

Kinley eventaully came out on top after a close contest with Chris Madigan.

The Clubman class was also tight with Kieron Jones finishing only 9 seconds ahead of Mark Oates.

Nick Cannon took the Sportsman honours.
