Another Isle of Man at centre of terror threat!

by isleofman.com 11th March 2009
India's largest political party says it’s worried terrorists are infiltrating the country through the Isle of Man.

The BJP's national president Shri Rajnath Singh spoke out after recent terror attacks in both India and Pakistan, and amid worries about extremists operating in the region.

He said his party was concerned over the security of islands in Indian seas, including the Isle of Man.

So it's not the Island we are familiar with, but a tiny uninhabited place near the Nicobar Islands in the Bay of Bengal.

The BJP says there's a risk the remote island could be used by terrorist organisations looking for bases.
