Police in Peel hunt for driver after weekend incident

by isleofman.com 10th March 2009
Police are looking for the driver of a metallic light blue Ford car who failed to stop after an accident on the TT course at the weekend.

The incident happened at Ballig Bridge between midday on Saturday and midday on Sunday when a vehicle damaged a ten-foot section of wrought iron garden fence outside a house.

Officers say they have identified the colour and make of the car from debris left at the scene, and are now asking the driver to contact them.

Anyone with information can contact police in Peel, on 842208.
