Busy few days for minehunter crew

The Mayor of Douglas, the Lieutenant Governor and children's hospice Rebecca House will all receive visits from representatives of the Royal Navy this weekend.

Crew of the minehunter HMS Walney are on the Island for five days, during which they will be joined on board by pupils from a number of local schools and members of the House of Keys.

They will also support a Navy presentation team which will be giving a talk at the Mount Murray Hotel on Tuesday.

Lieutenant Commander Tim Green says his crew are happy to be spending time on the Isle of Man:
