Liverpool man sent for trial on drug charges

A 20 year-old man has been committed for trial to a Court of General Gaol, for alleged drug offences.

Scott Anthony Webster, from Crosby in Liverpool is charged with importing cocaine and diamorphine, and attempting to import ecstasy.

He is also accused of possessing the drugs with intent to supply.

The offences were allegedly committed on December 31 last year.

The defendant was remanded in custody by the high bailiff, and reporting restrictions were not lifted.
