Job losses at RBS International

by isleofman.com 4th March 2009
More than 20 jobs are going at Royal Bank of Scotland International under a group restructuring plan.

In total, more than 80 jobs are being shed over the offshore network, which includes Jersey, Guernsey and Gibraltar as well as the Isle of Man.

Sources say the news was broken to staff at a meeting this morning at the company’s Manx headquarters on Victoria Street in Douglas.

There’s yet to be official confirmation from the bank itself.

The restructuring follows record-breaking losses posted by the group last week.
