MHK raises stakes in runway oversight row

An MHK wants to know if any disciplinary action has been taken, following the oversight which led to an extra ?2.2 million pounds having to be spent on the runway extension at Ronaldsway.

Onchan member Peter Karran has tabled a question for Tuesday's sitting of the House of Keys.

The extra cost was incurred when Treasury failed to put in an advanced order for Euros to pay for the project.

Treasury Minister Allan Bell has since accepted admitted a mistake was made, but Mr Karran is suggesting that's not enough:
