No details about Tourism pay-off

by isleofman.com 24th February 2009
The Chairman of the Civil Service Commission has refused to reveal any details of the pay-off given to former Tourism chief executive Carol Glover.

She left the Department of Tourism and Leisure late last year after spending months absent from the post.

This morning in the House of Keys (Tuesday), Onchan MHK Peter Karran asked civil service commission chairman John Houghton about the severance package.

In particular, he wanted to know why it was kept confidential – but Mr Houghton said even that was confidential.
