Let's talk - drug and alcohol advice for parents

by isleofman.com 23rd February 2009
Island parents are being offered advice sessions on how to talk to their children about drugs and alcohol.

The initiative is being jointly run by the Department of Education, the police and the charity Care for the Family.

Parents will be shown a presentation aimed at giving them the skills and confidence to openly talk to their children about drugs and alcohol.

Care for the Family's Carolyn Shipstone says the course will enable parents to help their children and others.
