It's the last sitting of the month for the House of Keys today (Tuesday).

There's a mixed bag of questions ranging from the Isle of Man Branding project to the number of press officers working in government departments.

Also up for discussion is a controversial bill which focuses on the rights of transsexuals in the Island, The Gender Recognition Bill, which is in its clauses stage.

It caused concern in the House of Keys recently with Douglas North MHK John Houghton claiming the Bill defied 'common decency'.

His attitude provoked anger among his fellow members, with several publicly distancing themselves from his remarks.

Meanwhile, another delicate subject will be discussed in Keys. Rushen MHK Quintin Gill will put the Prohibition of Female Genital Mutilation Bill forward for it's first reading.

Mr Gill wants to ensure if this practice was ever carried out on the Island, those responsible would be committing a criminal offence.

Also on the agenda is local authorities, bonuses for senior public sector workers and the Eastern District Civic Amenity Site.
