Fire crews deal with rush hour incident

by isleofman.com 18th February 2009
Fire crews have been at the scene of a fire at a house on Head Road, Douglas.

The road up to Douglas Head was closed for about 40 minutes, and there was a build up of traffic trying to get up and down the hill.

Smoke could be seen billowing from the chimney of the terraced property, but there is no word yet on whether anyone was inside.

The road reopened to traffic at around 6.20pm.
