Basking shark research - new post created

A new position is being advertised to develop the Isle of Man's Basking Shark Project.

The marine officer will be also be responsible for marine wildlife tourism and conservation issues, the basking shark website, liaising with government and non-government bodies and providing talks and information.

Director of the Manx Wildlife Trust Duncan Bridges says they already operate the Manx Basking Shark Watch Project and it's hoped the appointed person will help expand the intiative:
