Policy covers treatment in UK hospitals

Help is available for Isle of Man residents travelling to the United Kingdom, after it was announced last year that people wouldn't be covered for longer stays in hospital if they become ill while over there.

Last October the UK said it would be severing its reciprocal health agreement with the Crown Dependancies with effect from April next year, and now an insurance policy is being put together by a travel company operating in the Island.

On Talking Heads today, chief executive of the Online Regional Travel Group Brian Kelly explained who could benefit from the policy:
