Union's concern over pension presentations

by isleofman.com 16th February 2009
As the public sector pension consultation continues it’s being claimed not enough workers are being informed about presentations which form part of the process.

The union Unite says some workers without government internet systems aren’t being informed about the presentations, which take place at the end of this month and in March.

On Mandate at One today, regional industrial organiser for Unite Mick Hewer explained his concerns to James Davis (play extended audio file):

A government spokesperson said all employees would be contacted individually due to the importance of the issue and that additional information would be sent to help people engage in the consultation process.
