Vagabonds B and Ramsey B continued their close rivalry with a 12-12 draw in the first round of Shimmin Wilson Manx Trophy games.

Ramsey hit back through left wing Matt Cheeseman to leave the game in the balance at 7-5 at half-time.

Vagas extended their lead midway through the second half when Marco Santos running 60 metres to score against the run of play.

However, Ramsey struck again to level the game when Henry Doran romped home under the posts and Darren Ideson converted.

The Shimmin Wilson Manx Bowl game between Douglas B and Emerging Nomads was postponed due to no referee being available.

The game was played as a friendly with Douglas coming out 19-12 winners with tries from Alex Gibson, Karl Markle-Fearns and Elliot Dillon.
