Frantastic Vagabonds beat Leigh

by isleofman.com 15th February 2009
Four tries from skipper Fran Hunt inspired Vagabonds to a 48-31 win over promotion rivals Leigh in RFU women’s North West Division Two.

Two tries from Hunt, plus scores from Lizzie Lennon and Sorrell Williams, as well as two conversions from Cat Beswick, gave Vagas a 24-7 half-time lead.

The visitors fought back in the second half but another two tries from Hunt, plus additional tries from Lennon and Cassie Watterson, made the game safe.
