Officers join town centre policing team

There are two new police officers on the beat in Douglas.

The Island's police force has announced Sergeant Ged Power and Constable Mark Dimsdale have joined their colleague Constable Bruce Nelson on the Douglas town centre policing team.

The team works closely with Douglas Council and the Douglas Development Partnership and is involved with the town’s Shopwatch scheme.

Between them, the two officers have more than 37 years of service.
