Should MNH be part of Tourism dept?

by isleofman.com 15th February 2009
Should Manx National Heritage be amalgamated into the Department of Tourism and Leisure?

In Tynwald this week, Peter Karran will ask the Chief Minister to look at the suggestion in view of the changing nature of the tourism sector.

Mr Karran says with the director of MNH recently retired and the DTL advertising for a new chief executive, now is the time.

And he says it‘s not just about cost-cutting.
