Bus investigation underway

by isleofman.com 12th February 2009
Cases where bus services from the Banks Circus depot in Douglas fail to pick up passengers at the Tesco stop will be fully investigated.

That has emerged in a written reply to a question in the House of Keys this week.

Tourism and Leisure Minister Martyn Quayle, whose department runs the bus service, says if a timetabled service doesn't stop and a complaint is made, the matter will be looked into and the appropriate action taken.

A CCTV camera has been installed at the location, facing directly at the stop, and footage will be used in an investigation.

The issue was raised by North Douglas MHK John Houghton.
