by isleofman.com 12th February 2009
A specialist in learning difficulties will address an audience on the Island this morning.

Pauline Allen of the Sound Learning Centre in London has been working with children and adults with learning and developmental difficulties since 1994, and has helped thousands of people.

She works with sound and light therapy and places great emphasis on discovering the underlying causes of conditions such as dyslexia, dyspraxia, ADHD and Asperger's sydrome.

Pauline says the techniques have been around for years and are highly effective (play attached audio file):

The talk is in the Garden Room at the Sefton Hotel in Douglas, starting at 10.30am.
