Police are asking for witnesses to come forward after an incident in Paramount nightclub in Douglas.

Officers say a 23 year-old man was arrested shortly after 01:35am on Sunday and charged with assault and licensing offences.

They say numerous people outside the club videoed what happened on their mobile phones, and are asking anybody with any footage to come forward.

If you have any information which could help police you can contact officers on 631212.
