Jocelyn Errington committed for trial

A 60 year-old woman who allegedly stole money from the Isle of Man Employers' Federation and dishonestly obtaining money transfers by deception has been committed for trial to a Court of General Gaol.

Jocelyn Margaret Errington, who lives in Swanbourne, Buckinghamshire is also charged with an offence of perjury.

The offences are alleged to have been committed between 2004 and 2005 and the sum involved is believed to be ?10,000.

High Bailiff Michael Moyle granted bail of ?5,000 to the defendant and she was allowed to the leave the Island until her appearance at General Gaol.

Reporting restrictions were not lifted.
