Pension posters target Tony

by isleofman.com 3rd February 2009
Plans to reform public sector pensions in the Isle of Man are under fire again.

The employees' side of Whitley Council has issued a number of posters highlighting the fact there are no plans to change the pension arrangements for members of Tynwald.

The posters target Chief Minister Tony Brown and one of them has the heading 'Why is Tony smiling?', with a caption beneath a photo which reads '... because his pension scheme is not changing'.

The posters are being distributed to Whitley Council employees and other public sector workers.
