by isleofman.com 26th January 2009
Police have named the motorist who died when her car went out of control in Governor's Road, Onchan on Saturday morning.

She was 28 year-old Francesca Szaniszlo, a resident of Douglas.

Police say Ms Szaniszlo's blue Subaru car collided with the wall of a house at about 6am, and they are keen to talk to anybody who saw such a vehicle being driven in the Douglas and Onchan area from 5.30 on Saturday morning.

A 23 year-old man who was a passenger in the car was yesterday described as "satisfactory" in Noble's Hospital, with serious head injuries.

It's understood the dead woman's parents live in the United Kingdom.

Anybody with information is asked to ring Police Headquarters in Douglas, on 631212.

The coroner of inquests has been informed.
