Ad campaign hailed a success!

The Island's TV advertising campaign has been a huge success according to the Department of Tourism and Leisure.

The results of a survey into the ?1.1 million pound promotion revealed the awareness of the campaign increased from 25 per cent to 63 per cent with one in five people saying they would choose to visit the Island above any of the other islands surrounding the British Isles.

The ads feature adventure, lifestyle and nature and promote the brand of 'Freedom to Flourish'.

Tourism and Leisure Minister Martyn Quayle says he's pleased with the reaction so far (audio file attached):
