Question time with a difference for Brown

by isleofman.com 24th January 2009
There will be a rare opportunity to question the Island's senior politician, face to face, on Monday evening.

Chief Minister Tony Brown (pictured) will be the only panellist at a BBC "Question Time" type event, organised by the Positive Action Group.

To keep the evening as lively and spontaneous as possible, Mr Brown will have no prior knowledge of the subjects on which he will be quizzed.

PAG chairman Roger Tomlinson is looking forward to a good turnout, and says plenty of people have responded to the request to submit questions in advance (play attached audio file):

The number to ring to submit questions is 863106, but you must call by this evening.

The Question Time event will be at the Manx Legion Club, Market Hill, Douglas at 7.30pm on Monday.
