'Textual' harassment man bailed

by isleofman.com 23rd January 2009
A 42-year-old man charged with provoking behaviour has been bailed so a social report can be compiled.

Stephen Robert Bridson of Marathon Road, Douglas admitted he harassed his dad using text messages, which left him feeling threatened and upset.

The prosecution said the messages started in June last year and Mr Bridson senior finally contacted police in December, which led to his son's arrest.

Stephen Bridson told officers he didn't intend violence, and apologised.

He will appear in court again on February 10.
