'Cuppa with a copper' on Sunday

by isleofman.com 23rd January 2009
Police in Peel will host the latest in a series of community events with a difference this weekend.

People in the area are being asked to share a "cuppa with a copper" or a "brew with a bobby".

The idea is for the community to meet officers and raise concerns in an informal way, and the approch has already proved successful.

PC James Evans will be at the Shamyr Hey tea rooms in Michael Street, from midday to 2pm on Sunday.
