Road reopens after Ballaharra accident

The main St John's to Peel Road reopened at lunchtime, following an accident involving three vehicles.

It happened near to the Ballaharra Quarry at about 8.15am.

Police closed the road between the juntion at Station Road, St John's and Queen's Drive in Peel for over three and a half hours while they dealt with the incident.

Sergeant Stuart Gardner from Peel police told Manx Radio he didn't believe the heavy overnight rain was a contributory factor:
