Minister sympathises with RTLC

The Transport Minister says he understands why the Road Transport Licensing Committee has decided to overturn a suspension on issuing new taxi licenses.

Last week the RTLC announced it was making the move, as it's worried people who have been waiting years for their cases to be heard could go to court over the delays.

David Anderson (pictured) admits it is taking time for a Tynwald Select Committee to decide whether the Island's taxi trade should be deregulated and he doesn't blame the RTLC for making the decision:
