Island hit by cigarette shortage

A cigarette shortage is starting to bite in independent shops in the Isle of Man.

A dispute between an Island based supplier and Bristol based Imperial Tobacco means many retailers are beginning to run out of tobacco, and related products.

It’s not known how long the dispute will last, or how long shortages might continue, although Imperial Tobacco says it is trying to resupply Island outlets this week.
